How long did it take you to get your wedding photos & album from the photographer after you were married?
-
I still don't have mine & it has been years! They keep giving me the run around- Someone quit, they had to rehire people, they had to train people, they have a new computer program, they didn't get my emails, they are locked out of their email. I'm getting SCARED & I am already paid in full!

Answer:
It shouldn't take longer than a month! YEARS!? Something is really wrong here! I would go down there in person, with all of your paperwork (make sure you keep all your paperwork) and demand to speak to the owner/manager. Tell them you want your pictures now, and that you are not leaving until they are in your hand! If they try to give you the run around, tell them this is their last opportunity to settle this with you, you are not leaving with out either your pictures, or a full refund!! If they do not provide you with either, tell them the next time they hear from you it will be through your attorney! If they try to give you a later pick up date, tell them you must have a signed affidavit in writting that they will be completed by then, or you will be contacting your attorney! Do not give them more than one more week on this! I'm beginning to wonder if something didn't happen to your pictures, and they're scared to tell you! I hope not, that would be horrible! Wedding pictures are irreplaceable! I would sue for pain and suffering due to the loss as well!! Go get'em girl! A tip: In all matters of business, be sure to DOCUMENT everything!! Who you spoke with, when, what was said, etc... it's the only thing that will stand in a court of law! Good Luck!!

Mine only took 2 weeks. If I were you, I would threaten to sue. Try and find the reciept and/or contract that you made with them. They have broken this contract by not delivering the goods, and that's basically theft. Also, if you paid by credit card, you can call up the credit card company, and see if they can retrieve the money if the photographer refuses to give you the pictures. As a last resort, of course. You can also talk to the Better Buisness Beaureu, and any local news station that deals with consumer rip offs.
