What is an atheist wedding like?

How do people work out what kind of wedding they'd like?

  • I am a kind, easygoing woman with simple tastes and a small handful of friends I can count on one hand or perhaps half my hand but not into anything really fancy or formal nor am I much of an organizer. I think I am most cut out for a garden wedding with caterers but have been thinking about various different ideas. I don't want a white wedding but was thinking about a wedding near a river or ocean and felt indecisive about which of the three would be best. After all, you could be halfway into the wedding and then feel that you made a big mistake with your venue or with the food. How do people work out what suits them best?

  • Answer:

A wedding by a garden having a lake would be best. What kind of wedding depends on ur taste. Indians dont have a theme. They have to wear traditional outfits .I dont know what country are you from .But it is better to choose your likes and dislikes first, color combinations and themes before you select a venue.

Look at your budget first, talk with the person you are marrying, then make decisions together. And you don't get half way into the wedding and start thinking you've made a mistake. You made a decision and you move forward.

The best and easiest way to determine what type of setting or wedding that you want is to remember what you've seen on TV or in the movies or think about all the real-life weddings that you have attended. What did you like about this wedding? What didn't you like about this TV show? What would you try to duplicate from your co-worker's wedding? What would you avoid that happened at your sister's wedding? What do want your guests to say about your wedding the day after wards? Was it the best party that they have been to lately? Or did the caterer run out of appetizers? Just recently I was associated with a Bride and Groom who wanted their guests to get "all dressed up" for their ceremony and reception. All of their decisions were based on "having a grand Saturday night". Answered by: A Certified wedding specialist / A Professional bridal consultant / A Wedding ceremony officiant

You have preferences and you go with them. We wanted something small and simple, no doubt about it, so that's what we did.

I 'm guessing they talk to their partner about it and decide whats best
