What Do I Need To Do To Be Home Schooled?

Home schooled depressed and need help!?

  • I'm going to be 15 this july and I'm a girl. All my life i've been home schooled and I'm extremely lonely, I haven't had friend since I was 8. my mom says I don't need friends, and that most people, my age are bad influences. when I was 12 she beat me, till I had red marks, that lasted for about a two weeks, also when I was 12 I got a really bad hair cut, and my dad said to not be seen with him, unless I wore a hat. I have two brothers,The one that lived with us my mom used to baby anything he asked for he got,he had friends and mom wnt out of her way to get him friends, he never got in trouble and would blame stuff on me and laugh Any time I got in trouble, he has been moved out for about 3 years he is married, and has a son. but even tho mom did all that for him he treats her like S*it! he ignores her never comes by never call we can say hi and he ignores her and me. the other brother just mover to town a year ago, he lived with his mom. (my dads ex wife) I found this free german learn website (that I really like) and she said that I'm not smart enough to learn a new language. she is a christian and asks me all the time what I pray and if I pray about, my mom only listens to christian music and HATES heavy metal, I love heavy Metal if she found out I listen to heavy metal she would get very angry! But for me heavy metal kinda makes me feel better, I don't believe in god because I was even more depressed when I did. my dad tells me I'm worthless at least once a week. Being home schooled is awful! some times It will be a week before I go out side, one time she even got mad because I read the book "Alice in wounder land" and some times It will be 5 hours before she comes out if her room, I can tell she doesn't want me around. The only thing about home schooling is that when I do get out its out of the country. like me and my dad are leaving for germany next month, but that's the only good thing. and I know when we get back I'm going to ger really depressed Again. I'm lonely depressed and sad! I know it was long but what would you do if you where me? Please no rude comments Thanks!

    Just... Wow. I feel very sorry for you, I am 14 too - but do not ave any of these problems. I doubt I'm going to get best answer, or if you may even look at this - but I just felt like any answer is better than no answer. The only thing I can say that could prehapps be of any use is that your life will not always be like this. Try to think about how things will be better on when you're older. Study hard and get the job you've always wanted so you can move away. =) Good luck! (P.S: I like heavy metal too, feel very sorry for you having to put up with christian music. -.- ,/,,/)

Sounds like you have religious conservative parents. They follow the Bible like laws, which in some cases is ok. 1st of all you should believe in God cus its the only person who wont abandon you. Dont confuse loneliness w anger/ rebellion. If your parents are easy w ur bros its cus they cant control them anymore. The mother is always attached to the boys than the daughters. They give them more freedom cus a girl is more fragile and needs more protection. On that note, you should forgive and forget. Move on and look to better possibilities to make u happy. Im sure Heavy metal relaxes ur anger but it only helps build it up inside and affects your life. Express your feelings to your parents and hear their reasons for being how they are. It will give you closure and if they continue to neglect you, ask to live w another relative( aunt, uncle, cousins, grandparents.if u need more help email me at my yahoo address, ive been in your shoes but learned to work for a better future. I would call Social Services and report your mother. It doesn't sound like she is treating you legally. At least there is a light at the end of your tunnel for now. When your mom asks what you pray about, tell her that you pray for peace.
