Dose any one know which is stonger valium or ativan?

Depending on the person. for me valium was stronger for me.

Getting less than six hours of sleep a day for an extended period of time is worse than smoking a pack a day, and you will die young if you dont fix it now. 1 mg. ativan=10 mg. valium but everyone responds differently, so it depends on the person personally, i did not like valium at all, and did not find it at all helpful if u haven't slept for days, i feel so bad 4 u! it might not agree w/u(the valium) zoloft has helped me; and a stabilizer like depakote or lithium has also helped me in the past-sorry to hear u r feeling so panicky *hugs*

Valium is stronger and longer lasting. Is has a much longer half-life. Ativan is from the same class of drugs and is also used for all the same conditions anxiety, alcohol withdrawal, sleep. But it wears off much much quicker. The most effective drug in this class for panic attacks is xanax. Once again, it wears off really quick. Overall, I can see why valium was chosen for you 5mg or 10mg at least twice a day should be effective.

Both will do the trick but Valuim is the lesser of the two evils. Ativan is very addictive and withdrawal can be severe. Stick with the valium..safer for you
