How do I know if I'm having a mental breakdown?

I was about to go mental.. what happened??? Please read im begging!!!!?

• in hs and as i graduate i changed.. my personality & the people i hang out w/. i became part of the big grp, im not the laid back and shy type anymore.. my relationship w/ people aren't deep anymore just like casual, the only ppl i get along w/ were the big ppl. i completely changed & i accepted that. as time goes i lost contact w/ this ppl w/c i understood, i knw this kind of relationshps isn't for long & the only frnd left to me is my bstfrnd who at the same time havng trouble w/ my personality. then of course this friend left me. i ws lying in my bed and feeling extremely confused. & felt like i came to my senses and realized that i have no close friend! none! it drove me crazy because im not the type of person who loses friends i know how to keep friends and for this happning to me is really depessing, and at tht time my thoughts and idea are jumbled. idk anymre the thoughts and ideas coming to my head.. i feel like im going to breakdown.. idk w/c path ill take.. when my bstfrnd left me that was a slap in the face to me. thats when i started thinking analyzing thinking analyzing thinking analyzing.. and i started paying attention to my thoughts too and its crazy i feel like im a mental person that time.. in your opinion what do u think happened and what shud i do?

  It does hurt to lose good friends. Sounds like you were trying to be a bigshot and your buddy felt you were moving along different lines. First, chill.. you won't make buddies being uptight. Maybe make an attempt at getting back w/your buddy via email or a note. Being down to earth has it's advantages..maybe that's where you need to be.
