How do you define power? what do you wish you had the power to do?

I'd like the power to influence people... to make them bend to my will. Libra Sun :)

I wish all men could for maybe an hour see how good it is to be gay. Like if there was some cloud that washed over the entire planet for an hour, and suddenly everyone would be open-minded about this. Lesbians too...all women could be lesbian for that short amount of time. It would end hatred for differences. This could work for races too. If all white people (especially me since I'm an albino) could be black and vice versa and so on. We would be more accepting, and we could enjoy more important things in life like movies, theater, opera, astrology, Greenpeace, PETA, Lily of the Valley, shopping, saunas, poodles, bodypaint, tie-dying, parades, and EACH OTHER...there's so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a Capricorn.

I'm able to influence people and much of the time don't even realise I'm doing it. It's a good feeling though. I like to be in control. I can be powerful in a quiet way also. Scorpio.

I agree with the guy above me to an extent. Power is all about control, but not necessarily controlling other people. It can be that way, but that's really a weakness, because it comes out of an irratioanl insecurity. Anyone who has control issues will try to control everyone in their immediate circle, because they fear losing control, or having someone else make the decisions. But power is about having control. Self-control. You know when to make decisions for yourself. It's not about making decisions for other people, because other people ( most of the time ) know what is best for them. They don't always, but you can't tell them how to live their life. Power is also able to be in control of your life, but not irrationally so. You're able to handle when things don't go your way and make the best of things. I also think power is being able to not sink to the levels of other people, or for them to get a rise of people.
