What is a close alternative to a pocket bike?

How to get my pocket bike running?

  • ok i have a pocket bike but it wont start... i rode it about six months ago... but its just been sitting around in the garage for six months and it wont start the electric start wont work the pull start sounds close to working. like i pull it and it goes vvvvmmmm but thats it so is it just that i need to keep trying to pull start it and eventually it will start? or is a spark plug wet? or is the pull start just broken?

    The old gas most likely gummed up in your carb. You will probably have to pull the carb off and clean it. One of the jets are probably clogged. Also empty your gas tank and replace with fresh gas. DON'T GO SPRAYING ANY FLAMMABLES INTO THE ENGINE YOU WILL RUIN IT IN NO TIME.A two stroke engines cylinder gets lubed by the oil that you mix in the gas and if it doesn't have that it will cook your rings. For future reference use Sta-bil while storing it for extended periods.

This probably sounds stupid, but how old is the gas/oil mix you're running? If it's older (like more than a month or two old...especially if the gas/oil mix has sat anywhere warm) try emptying the tank and using a fresh gas/oil mix. I had a similar problem to yours with my pocket bike last summer and it was cured by something as simple as using a fresh gas/oil mix.
