Can a honda shadow 750 fit in the back of the short bed 2011 toyota tacoma?

im looking to get a honda shadow 750 and want to know if anyone has one and if they can fit it in the back of a 2011 toyota tacoma (short bed). i know it wont fit with the tailgate up, but was wondering if anyone had done it before either sideways or just straight in with the tail gate down.

I have a 95 tocoma SWB mud truck and i can fit my hurricane in it with the tailgate down with the help of some $10 ratchet straps! If you strap it down good and the majority of the bike is in the bed it will stay put!

I can get my Rebel in the back of my Ford Ranger (with the tailgate down). And the wheelbase on it, is 57 inches. And it Looks like the wheelbase is just over 61 inches for the shadow. So with the tailgate down, you might be able to manage it. And if you catty-corner it, you would have a little more room.
