How much do you think my dirt bike is worth?

How much do you think i could sell a 2005 honda crf 100 dirt bike for if it needs a little work done to it?

  • about a year ago, the rear wheel messed up and needs to be replaced. ever since then, i haven't messed with the bike. so i went out today and tried to see if it would still crank after a year of sitting, but i could not get it to start. as far as i know, those are the only two things wrong with it. how much do you think i could sell this bike for?

  • Answer:

rear wheel messed up and needs to be replaced.. so it doesn't roll?? i could not get it to start...so it doesn't go?? sounding more like a boat anchor than a bike... part it out... could get as much as $500 for it. but as is....$100

People looking for dirt bikes typically don't want a messed up bike unless they just enjoy the project. These people understand that they are purchasing an investment so they usually are only willing to spend about 25% of what the bike would cost new. If you can't find a buyer on a site like craigs list where a good condition bike is going for $1500 then I would just sell it as is or for parts for $200-500. Unfortunately because it is damaged and does not start AND because you don't know why, whoever purchases the bike is going to have to put in a lot of time, effort, and money to get it going again

Sell it as parts, it doesn't sound like a dirt-bike more like a pile of sh!t.
