Do you know any information about Osamu Suzuki and his achievents?

Did you know Suzuki's warranty isn't worth the paper it's on?

  • My brother and I bought 2 new bikes for a summer vacation. His 1200 Bandit leaked gas and ruined the motor before it got 2000 miles. We asked Suzuki to replace the motor so we could go on vacation. They said it’s to expensive and would cost $3000. After 4 months and the vacation gone they got the motor rebuilt at a their cost of $3700. The dealer wanted to replace the motor but Suzuki squashed that. The gas stained cases and burnt exhaust pipes were not replaced. The bike got nicked and scratched all over from being apart for so long. The rep rode it and looked at it, then said it’ good as new. It ran like crap and looked worse. We called Japan for nothing, and even wrote the US CEO all for nothing. We spent $15,000 for the bikes to get ripped off. We spent our vacation hassling with Suzuki, and not one person there gave a F! Beware Suzuki’s warranty is not worth the paper it’s printed on! Buy one of their lemons are get ripped off like we did! Suzuki ripped off a man dieing cancer and stole his only chance for a summer motorcycle vacation with his brother while he was still healthy enough to go. We did everything possible to make our vacation happen and we were insulted by the Suzuki rep. Not one person anywhere in Suzuki’s entire organization cared one whit. It perfectly OK to rip off a dying man and steal his only chance for a vacation after we spent $15,000. What ever you do run from buying any Suzuki. If you get a lemon you’re screwed and no one there will care. It happened to us it can happen to you.

Another story change. Sorry about your brother (if it is actually true because it has not been mentioned in any of the many previous "stories"). Get a life. Go seek some professional help before there is no return from becoming the bitter twisted person you have become.

Those gotta be only the two Suzukis ever that aren't any good. They're always good and problem free. They're from Japan, they last forever and never breakdown. You must have done something wrong to them. LIke when I hit a tree doing 120. Then mine didn't work.

We've seen this story before. Since your avatar is anonymous, you should feel free to post the city and the dealership where this happened. Since the dealership scratched up the motorcycle while it was apart, their service department clearly sucks. Let us know where, so we don't take our motorcycles there for servicing.

one of my partners had a gsxr skip time and the damb thing about exploded. Susuki gave haim a brand new bike after determining it was not due to anything he did.Maybe you dealt with a bad dealership.

As I've told you before, Suzuki isn't the Make A Wish Foundation, so stop with the dying man sob story. That's irrelevant. You have an axe to grind with Suzuki, for a problem which sounds to me was due to you and your brother's ignorance. Suzuki isn't going to give anyone a new engine or a new bike if it's been abused or neglected.

I am sorry your brother had cancer and died, but that is still no-way to try to swing people around to your point of view. Only a fool would continue this "I'm innocent" routine and a fool you are proving to be exactly that. A year on and still you try to bamboozle new riders into the crap you are pulling. Just grow up and let it go. Because if you were truly at no fault you would have gotten not only the lawyers onto it as well as starting proceedings for compensation and suing Suzuki, not to mention the ombudsman for motorcycles (or the consumer watch dog that you obviously have in the US) of some description and you wouldn't sell the bike until you had FULLY proven your point. The thing is you and your brother did something stupid; like ride around with the fuel switch in "prime" (that is one of the positions for the Bandit fuel switch) that would account for the "gas stained cases and burnt exhaust pipes" so if I had just sold you those bike KNOWING that they had been perfect when they left the floor into your "caring hands" to see it come back in the condition that they did and then have you blatantly tell them that "we did nothing to it man...." one look at the bike will tell them otherwise. So to do what they did you are so lucky that they bothered knowing that they could prove your brother "screwed" his own ride. Shows you exactly what Suzuki will go through for a customer -even for one in the wrong. Also the dealership where the bike was repaired was responsible in returning it to you in the condition you left it; or maybe they did. The Bike was only just run in by the time you did the damage, and for “Experienced Riders” you sure are dumb!

How many times do we have to look at this...God, man...get over yourself! K ;o)

I too am sorry to hear about your family members health problem. I also had run-ins with Suzuki, they're warranty, and they're "no customer satisfaction" policy on a '05 Suzuki bike. (which will be the last new Suzuki I'll ever own) They don't even try, just "nope, not warranty, but thanks for your money when you bought the bike."

YES i would!!!! i have 5 of them right now. and the best bikes i have ever owned. an you posted this tired old post last year time and time again about 50 times! you forgot the part were the dealer was your best friend and wouldnt help you at all. because someone far away called him and told him not to. atleast that is what you said last time. and a gas leak wont stain, or ruin a motor. and again i see your story continuies to change and grow.
