How to get NOC for my old bike from Chennai RTO?

• Hi All, How to I get a NOC for my old bike from Chennai? I had moved my Bike to Orissa around 3 years back without taking any NOC from Chennai. In the mean time I went to some other city, didnt pay the Insurance Fee, lost my RC and all. Now I would like to get a NOC from Chennai so that I can register the bike in Orissa and get a local number for the bike. All I have are few old documents (Engine-Chasis Number, original Sell Receipt, Old Insurance Papers, Tax Reg Document etc). I do not live in Chennai any more. How do I go about getting this done? Can I get NOC without getting duplicate RC (just to avoid the pain) Are there any reliable RTO agents who could help me wiht some fee ofcourse?   Some things have to be done correctly and on time. In your case, both are missing. You will have to make out an application for a DRC (duplicate registration book/certificate). This is easier said than done. It can take well up to 6 months. This is the first step. Meanwhile make sure your vehicle is insured and has a valid PUC (pollution under control) certificate. After having procured the DRC, you can proceed to fill the requisite form for getting the NOC. You can most probably enlist the services of an RTO agent to get the job done, but you will have to pay a very big sum to get the job done. So it is better you take a personal interest. At least you will know the correct status of your papers. Next time take better care of your paper work. Another simpler option would be to sell your bike and start afresh.
