Is Barcelona the expensive city?

I plan to buy a motorcycle or scooter to use in going to work within the city of Barcelona, Spain.?

• Any tips on what model is ideal for a city like Barcelona? I have a preference for either a "medium" scooter or a "small" motorcycle. Also, are scooters and bikes prone to theft in Barcelona?

  there is a yamaha step through scooter called a mate, they are a bit bigger than most 50ccs and some of them have a 90cc. these bikes have three gears, i have a 1974 model a V70 72cc. i know they are there as i have seen them on youtube and in general surfing the net, they have been made from the 60's to this year and are one of the highest selling bikes ever! they get called a V50 50cc with the V up to 90, or the yamaha autolube. i live in australia and they have not been sold here in many years and mine is still going very strong, i would love to get a newer one!
