Need some help about Suzuki bike?

Help choosing a dirt bike!?

  • I have wanted a dirt bike for the longest (like 3 or 4 years) I am stuck between 2 dirt bikes and I need help choosing one. The bikes I am stuck between are the 2012 Yamaha TT-R230 and the 2012 Honda CRF250X. I really like Yamaha's but I like the Honda CRF250X too. I want a bike that has an electric start and maybe a kick start. I am super confused. I am 13, 5'3" (I think), and weigh 150 (I think...) I am hoping to get a dirt bike for my birthday this year. I want a bike that will last me a long time, that I won't outgrow so fast. And don't say things like: Oh this dirt bike brand is the best without supporting your answer. I don't get convinced very easily. And I only want a Yamaha or Honda NO Suzuki, Kawasaki, or KTM. Please answer (: Thanks.

  • Answer:

TTR230 or CRF230. The CRF250X will be too tall for you.

Been racing my Yamaha(s) against Honda(s) for 40+ years, damn, sometimes those guys win and sometimes I do, still can't figure it out. Must be some kind of voodoo-karma or maybe maintenance, as sometimes I do some and sometimes they don't and than again I still think the voodoo-karma gods play around with the track between practice and the races. Go either way, you take care of the bike and the bike will take care of you. Have fun! That's the important part.
