How do I get started Dirt Biking?

How can i get my engine started on my dirt bike?

  • i cant seem to get my engine started on my dirt bike its brand new and before i got it the guy started it and took it for a spin. its a 125cc giovanni and i cant get the engine to even make a sound what am i doing wrong????

turn on the gas turn on the choke twist the throtle 3 time and try to start it if this doesnt work try this turn on the gas roll it down in hill kick into first when you got some speed built up but if that doesnt work......... take out your spark plug pour a little bit of gas down the hole put your spark plug back in and try to start it with the gas on try to always put your bike in a warm place dont leave it somewere cold.

check the manual, you might have a kick stand sensor - the kick stand might need to be up to start or similarly the clutch needs to be in or in neutral on some bike. Is the kill switch set to run? are you using the choke correctly? does it turn over at all? is the fuel tap on? we need a bit more info dude!

check your gas and check for a spark. the old saying goes if it has gas and spark it will run. also make sure the ignition is on

Put a sign on the engine that says start and make a button right underneath it.
