How much are sports motorcycles?

  • I'm thinking about buying a sports motorcycle and I'm just wondering how much they are, just a general price range. How much is a High end one: (not custom or the most expensive one out there, just a very nice one) Regular one: Cheap ones: (not used) Used motorcycles: Just list the prices for each one please and thank you.

    How much is a (all prices are approximate U.S. dollars) High end one: $17,000 (Aprilia RSV1000 factory) to Ducati Desmocedici ($66,000) to $144,000 (MV Agusta F4CC) ... pretty big gap. Regular: $10,000-14,000 for the "big fours" 1000 cc bikes or about $8,000-10,000 for the 600 or intermediate cc bikes. Cheap ones: Depends on "cheap" you wanna be. Usually about $3,000-$5,000 for new. Example: Hyosung GT250R. Starts at $4,295 last I checked. Used motorcycles: How beat up do you want it? I've seen mostly about $4,000 for something that is mechanically sound an doesn't need a lot of love. Usually about 5 years old from the year you are in. You can find track prepped bikes that aren't road legal any more for very cheap, relative to their street going brotheren.

No. How could you ask us to do your legwork through the internet? Obviously you have access to a computer. Google the makers websites and look for the MSRPs. Or look up a used bike dealer site or something like craigslist or ebay and look up prices. Grow up or don't ride.

If you have to ask you lack the experience to consider a sport bike. These are street legal racing bikes, they require high level skills to ride safely. One beginner mistake and you will be road pizza.

New anywhere from 10k to 15k depending on engine displacement (600) Or (1000). Used around 6k. If it gets around 4k somthing is possibly wrong but 5k is usually the lowest you will find.
