My 2000 suzuki RM125 sticks down when i down shift. I have replaced the spring but it still does it????

all of the gears are still there so i know its not a transmission issue. When i down shift the lever sometimes gets stuck down and does not return to neutral. I have replace the oil and the springs. everything looks fine in the case. when oil isn't in the csae it shifts fine......any ideas??? thank you
