Accidentally put 2 stroke mix in my 4stroke TT-R 125cc dirt bike?
-
I accidentally put in my 2stroke mix (meant for chainsaw) into my TT-R 4stroke 125cc dirt bike... Now I'm wondering what damage I could possibly be looking at if I tried to ride the tank out of gas? My friend says that it will just smoke a little.. but I'm really not sure it would just to that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Answer:
i'd just flush out the oil tank if i were you look on the underside of the bike, there should be a cable leading from the oil tank somewhere, turn the knob/release valve on that and if should start to drain your oil tank

Yup - it will smoke a little. Depending on the fuel/oil mix it may foul the sparkplug after a while. It is not a big deal, but you should consider siphoning out your gas tank.

Your friend is correct. It will not hurt it at all. ,and it wont mess up your engine, no way..............md

Its going to run like ****! It should be just a couple bolts to pop the tank off so you can drain the fuel. Or if your like me and way to lazy for that crap lie the bike on its side and drain the fuel out that way.

Yes it will smoke to greater or lesser extend. It is only oil added and it will burn and cause the fume. But never try the other way! 2 stroke always needs oil in it.

Well it's probably not the greatest thing for it but I dont think it will harm it, i used marine two cycle in my 2 cycle sled, just didnt run as great, but if your hearing strange noises then just drink it out, i doubt it will harm it though, oil is oil

Pop the tank off and drain it.

Don't bother running it with 2 cycle oil. Find your gas valve and put it on the OFF position. Then detach the hose that is coming out of the bottom of it, next attach a separate hose to the valve and put he other end in the 2 stoke gas can. Finally turn the valve to the ON position and let it drain out. After its emptied the tank reattach the original hose and put fresh gas in. Its a very simple process and takes less than 5 minutes. Alot better than risk messing up your engine.

Can't you siphon it out? That's what I would do. Cheers
