CBR 600 is more a sports tourer. Its comfy on a trip and it will hold its own against the others when you start to push on a bit. I own a CBR600FW 98/99 and its never let me down or dumped me on my a.rse despite some of my stupid moments

look around, see what's out there and 'try it on'. as for mileage, i just bought one with 155000 k's and it runs perfect, it's all in how it was taken care of.

The main difference will be rider comfort. That may vary by year, but in general the honda and kawa are considered the more comfortable of those. Other than that, the GSXR has got a steering damper, which has a very large and very negative impact on slow speed steering. I have seen innumerable used GSXR's that were dropped after they were accidentally run over a curb at low speed.

I have only owned Honda sportbikes and have had very good luck with them over the years. Friends have had many other bikes and all have been good bikes although I wonder if Suzuki makes weak transmissions since two have lost second gear that I know of. It may just be because the riders of those bikes were quite hard on their bikes, always clutching the bike up. You could not go wrong with a Honda but the most important thing to look for when choosing between bikes would be maintance records, a bike that is well taken care of will give you years of trouble free service. Have fun.
