If i was to work at a magazine?

I work as a graphic designer for a magazine and I produce ads, is it legal for me to post copies of those ads?

  The first legal point is that you have to be sure the ads are published - using your employers material (and they own what you create while working for them) that has not been published or not published yet will result in serious problems. Then I would clear the use with the employer. Published ads may have appeared online so you can use a URL to refer to them. You may also be able to post them to an upload site like Flickr but as private with your site noting - "you may request access permission to this site by email" This is tricky new stuff - in the old days it was easier - you could pull tear sheets and take them to people, but you couldn't put your employer's ads in a book you published without permission.
