Are there any fine art competitions online?

• i have an eportfolio of my work, i was wondering if there are any organizations in the UK that i can send this too in hope of winning prizes to give me a head start before i start university this year.

  I currently enter the Worth1000 contests - they offer no cash prizes, but they have challenges and things to work your imagination. Traditional and digital works are accepted, but they have to be original and made only for the contest. There's also a British Arts contest directory I found too: http://www.britisharts.co.uk/competitions.htm Other student-based contests (sadly over now, but consider them for next year) include the Northern Design Competiton, but lean towards graphics/illustration. There's also the New Blood website where you can sell art, as an undiscovered talent. Good Luck!
