  • okay, do you have to be a certain age to get this? I'm 13 and a girl. What exactly is the process of getting a henna tattoo? How long does it last? Instead of designs can you put words? What color should henna tattoos be? also are their anything I should avoid when I have a henna tattoo? Thankyou very much in advanced :D

    Well the only place I have ever gotten a henna tattoo is at my county fair. You do not have to be a certain age. he process takes probably like 10 minutes, depending on the size of the tattoo. They just put the henna on your skin, it is at first a dark kinda green color and you have to wait a couple hours till it is completely dry and it will just fall off your skin. It will leave an orange dy on your skin that with last probably about 2 weeks or more. You can get in were ever and however you want. Im not sure if they do other colors of henna, I have only seen the orange kind. While the tattoo is drying you cant have anything touching it, so if you were to get it on your back or something just make sure you don't have on a lot of layers or anything and keep your hair up. Other than that I think your good :)

henna is perfectly safe, but only lasts around 4 weeks. its not really a tattoo though. its a soft liquid that is left on the skin. the liquid stains the skin a different colour and this is visible then the henna is removed. henna can stain the skin brown, red-brown, black and orange colours. any design can be done, depending on the skill of the person who applies it to the skin. Age doesnt really matter. depends where you go to do it.

Just FYI Henna tattoos are not cheap They cost around $15 for a small piece of work...if you want good detail and a large size expect to pay a lot of money.
