Does Claes oldenburg still make any art sculptures?

Art project, need help!?

  • hello, im doing an art project, and i have been asked to create a scuplture inspired by the school and Claes Oldenburg ( a sculpture artist) im struggling on what i should make, any ideas?:) thankyou

    Oldenberg tends to create massive sculptures with mundane objects, like his clothespin in Philadelphia. But I'm guessing you don't have the materials or time to create something HUGE! It would be smart to take his concept and flip it, making a tiny sculpture of something very important, like Mount Fiji, the Eiffel Tower, the Rocky Mountains, the White House, Taj Mahal, etc.
