How do I become and imagineer at Disney?

What do you need to become a Disney Imagineer?

  • I am a 14 year old, and I am very interested in becoming a Disney Imagineer. I am going to a high school that specializes in the arts, and receives a HUGE budget towards the arts! This high school also has ties with two great art colleges (George Brown and Sheridan), and the statistic is that 2 people from every graduating class will get a paid scholarship to one of these schools, and most of the graduating class doesn't even apply, so most people applying get either accepted or a scholarship! My question is what I need to become a Disney Imagineer. I am specifically interested in designing Vinylmations, which is in product designing, I think (Correct me if I am wrong)! I would like to know the following: -What degree(s) should I major in? -What college/university would you recommend I apply to? - Should I apply for the Disney College Program? - Should I get more comfortable in digital art (Photoshop, and other paint programs) or hand drawn, painted, and such art? Please also include how you know these things! Thanks so much in advance!
