Answer:
is it newspaper only or can you use tape as well? If you can use tape as well, then make a tape sculpture. Check link. Once you made the tape sculpture, you can stuff it full of newspapers. You have to cut it open to get the person out anyway, just crumple up some newspapers and put them inside and seal cut with more tape. It should be pretty easy, so doable until tomorrow.

i'm not sure if you are saying you need help understanding paper mache. to make an effigy that is life-size you need to make a frame first that can stand on its own. lots of good suggestions for that already, like chicken wire (or clothes hangers), wood (or popsicle sticks), or something plastic like pvc pipes. what you use to make the frame will determine how heavy this turns out to be. if it were me and i needed it tomorrow, i'd use the pvc because it is durable and stands up well. you can hang clothes off it like a scarecrow and fill its "body" with newspapers. a better looking effigy would be rolled & twisted newspaper covered in chicken wire. make sure it can stand on its own (you might need to reinforce the legs & feet to stiffen them). then cover the thing with paper mache (strips of newspaper soaked in white glue or flour paste and just patted on the surface & allowed to dry) with paper mache, how thick it is makes it stronger, but also takes longer to dry. if you get in a pinch later, the blow dryer is your friend.

Rolled-up newspapers are surprisingly strong. You can make a frame out of those. Also, if you take newspaper and shred it and get it wet forming a paste-like consistency, you can use that sort of like paper-mache. Actually, any sort of newspaper that you get wet and let dry tends to be stiffer. Good luck!

You can make/mold the basic shape out of wire like hanger, then cover it in paper. It should hold ^_^ good luck.

Chicken wire for the frame would work, then cover it with the newspaper bundles (wrapped with string maybe?)

did you need to send an email in my box for that?
