Do you think it's "cheating" to then say the painting is yours? 14) Comments: feel free to say whatever you want about art class, art projects, or art teachers (no cussing, please) 15) Share your best or worse art experience ever. (optional) Thank you sooooo very much for your participation!! Please sign your answers with your first name, or nickname so I can properly quote you in my assignment. :o)

  • Answer:

Ey up. I'm answering these question based on GCSE art classes, if that's relevant to you. 1) Fantastic! It allows me to be creative and explore ideas. 2) She's okay. Good at helping me when If I'm stuck for ideas. 3) I think I can be successful in art class as I enjoy it, meaning I put a lot of effort in to it. I'm not so sure about being successful in art in general though, as I'm not very technically skilled.. 4) It showed me the parts I'm good at (creativity) and the parts I need to improve on (technical ability) so it makes me feel confident in my ability now and confident that I can improve somewhat. 5) At first, when taking GCSE Art, I felt I wasn't a good artist, so I can answer this question as well. I felt angry that I tried to produce good art but I still was rubbish. 6) My favourite project I did was 'Altered Interiors' (other people choice other themes) as it was something quite different and unique from what I had done before. I also enjoyed that no one else in my class was doing that theme as it made be feel different and that my piece may be considered the most unique of the class. 7) A lesson when we where put in to a group to discuss a piece of art because I didn't really like the people in my group. 8) I'm not too sure on this one but I'm leaning more toward talent because for most people the more effort they put in the more talented they become and in reality (as in, out of school) putting lots of effort in alone won't be enough. 9) You should try to make it look neat but not the same as others because one thing so wonderful about art is that it can be so diverse. 10) I'd prefer my art teacher to be more inspirational and passionate about art. Also to give drawing, painting etc. techniques and tips to people who are struggling with it, rather then just saying try your best, trace or doing it for you. 11) Yes but what's considered good would vary for different people. 12) If someone is good to begin with, without much or any practise they would be talented but if someone is good because of practising I would say they are skilled. 13) I don't like it when they do that as I love taking pride in my art work and I won't feel as proud of myself if I know they did some of it. I'd prefer them to demonstrate. However if they sincerely ask first, that's fine, as some people would prefer that and I don't really think it would be cheating of them to do so. 14) I love art! 15) My worst experience would be creating my final piece in the exam as the foil I had was make so much noise, whilst everyone was silent. Also I don't enjoy the 'exam' atmosphere; it's not very encouraging to create art in. No, thank you, I enjoyed doing this survey because I got to write about one of my favourite subjects! 1 - i love it, favourite subject. i think they should actually 'teach' more, like the fundamentals of drawing eg. human proportions. 2 - I like mine, he's a good laugh. He buggers off to the teachers lounge for half the lesson sometimes though -.- 3 - yes, im pretty good at it, i draw all the time, practice makes perfect XD 4 - i think i am, art class has made me feel confident in my own ability 6 - the time we stole the human skeleton from the biology department and drew it lol 7 - the stupid projects we have to do where you have to show "development" ugh, i don't work like that sorry. I go straight to the final piece :P 8 - tallent, well rather 'skills'. The more effort you put in the better your skills will become as an artist. 9 - It is important to be individual. 10 - More dedicated teachers that actually help tech people the basics they are so often lacking. 11 - not really 12 - I'd say so yes, some people may have an initial advantage though. 13 - never! my art teacher once ruined a painting of mine demonstrating something D: 14 - Art class is good fun, keep at it ;P lol
