Any good fantasy anime recommendations?

Advice on anime to watch?

• A little while ago i've watched the anime series Clannad and Clannad After Story. I personally loved it and been searching for another anime just like it. I did a lot of searching read people's recommendations, watched some but none of them are similar if you ask me. So I decided that I'll try and ask myself this time, I'm looking for a anime similar to Clannad and Clannad After Story. What I loved about it is that After Story goes on after "they live long and ever after" which most anime's don't. There is a lot of romance and drama and in the first season even comedy. It's a real tear jerker. I'll list a few anime's I watched which were suggested by others searching for a similar anime to Clannad. - Kanon (2006) - Air - Shuffle! - Lamune - Chobits - Ai Yori Aoshi (+ Enishi) - Ouran High School Host Club - School Days - True Tears I liked Shuffle! and Ai Yori Aoshi (+ Enishi) a hell lot, they really stand out to me, but it's still not what I was looking for. Regarding School Days, I rather forget about that anime as soon as possible... I was hoping some of you might have a few suggestions for me. If possible no Sci-fi. Fantasy is okay, as long as it's not such a important factor. Although I prefer dub, subs is no problem. Regarding the length of a anime, I've watched short and long anime's. Short being +/- 13 episodes and long +/- 24. I prefer long and if possible multiple seasons as I believe this allows a better build up of the story with more details and will get you more into the story. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out and I hope I'm not asking to much.

  I love Clannad and Kanon too, and I see you've watched Air... Those three kind of go hand in hand. If you haven't tried Fullmetal Alchemist, then really - go for it. Also, I think you may like Higashi no Eden and Honey and Clover. Although Death Note isn't really the same genre as the ones you've listed, I really recommend it. Also - try looking at www.myanimelist.net, its a really good way to keep track of what you've watched and can help you find what you're looking for.
