Are art internships usually paid or unpaid?

Art internships please!!! :D?

• i really want to major in art and have a career in it. i've heard that internships are really great but the problem is that i can't find a good place to internship that has to deal with art. Doesn't really matter where, i'd even go for one that goes through summer vacation, but i just want somewhere to intern. maybe even a specific artist or company, etc. i need somewhere to intern (or even work) that is... art related. i would prefer traditional art, like painting drawing, especially sculpture/ceramics, etc. any information will be helpful! :)

  What you could do is go to art galleries, graphic agencies, and even newspaper and offer your assistance as an unpaid intern to them. But be specific you want exposure to the arts. Looking for art internship is a pain in the stub.
