Create an image with the topic "Evoke"?

• I need to create a digital image that is based upon the topic of "evoke". I'm guessing it means create an image that evokes an emotion or response from the viewer. So what im asking is, how would you create an image on the topic of "evoke"?

  Evoke - a lost love maybe? Or childhood? I've been talking with friends about what our lives were like in post-war Britain, and us Londoners remember all sorts of things like the grime that covered buildings, big bomb sites with wild flowers growing on them, the sides of buildings with peeling wallpaper flapping (where the house next door had been bombed). Street games - skipping, hopscotch, marbles, and scabby knees on small children. So I guess I'd build up layers of those, but I don't know the technicalities to make that possible.
