• I'm doing one of my first assignments for my studio & arts class online. These were the directions I was given. Assignment Collage Assignment: Find images that you appreciate and mean something to you, either from magazines or online sources. ‘Cut and paste’ them into your sketchbook in a creative way. Remember this is a senior level art course so the collage you produce should reflect that. Strive to make this piece artistically unique and eye-catching. I've never really been great shakes at collages so any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

  Have you done a "Mood board" before? I use to take images that inspire me, and I'd copy them in black and white in an array of sizes, and paste the images in a decorative way. Once I've pasted them in the desired manner, I'd "link" the images together using a back drop pattern -extend lines in waves toward the lines of another image. I'd then select three-four colours, and use them within my "mood board design".
