Where or how can I get a job in graphic design?

Can i get a good job in advertising with a degree in graphic design?

• im planning on attending a community college next fall for my Associate in graphic design. After that i would love to design and advertise for a big company. i know i have the willpower to do this, my question is tho what are the job outlooks? is there anyway i can get my associates in graphic design then my bachelors in advertising? how does it all work?

  Graphic design will help you land a job in advertising, however be sure that you take a lot of courses in business and marketing as well to properly prepare for the job. You do not need to earn an associate's degree before you earn a bachelors degree, however this is an option (more expensive!). I would suggest looking for a school that offers an advertising degree program, or enroll in a marketing or visual communications program and take graphic design courses as your electives. Go for the bachelor's degree straight away, or see if you can transfer the credits you earn in your associate's to a bachelor's program. Hope that helps!!
