How do i organize a benefit concert or art show?

Start writing everything down and create a plan. Write down as many possible answers to each question as you can ~ Don't stop at 2 or 3 (Brainstorming) Go from vague to very specific. Who is it for, who is involved? What is it going to be, and What will be needed to make it happen? When do you want it to happnen? Where would it happen? Why is it happening and why should anyone care? How can you inform others about it? Just doing that will take up a few pages of thoughts, and will help you with the rest of what you need to do. You then need to write up a business plan, the same as if you were going to go to a bank and try to get a loan to open a store. This is because you will have to talk to a LOT of people to cover a location, insurance, permits, advertising, and participation. By preparing a business plan, you can answer a lot of the questions people will have for you up front. Then, you go out and start talking to the people you need to make your idea a reality.
