What's the deal with 3d?

Whats up with 3d????????

  • why is everything coming out in 3d?? I mean personally it sucks!! If it was holograms meybe but 3d sucks and now they whant everything in 3D!!! We got new 3D TVS, 3D nintedo ds, 3D ps3 games, 3D tooth paste, and the list goes on and on!!! I mean why is 3 D sooo popular all of the sudden? even in theaters, and they just had to mess up my " i cant wait 4 it" movie, transformers 3, its coming out in 3 D too!! NOOOOOO, Is it me or does any one else think 3D is bad?

    i think they are going over bored with the 3d...i mean in the past week ive heard of 4 movies that were gonna come out in 3d. personally i don't care for 3d. i think it takes away from the movie...the glasses suck and it always messes up my eyes. im sick of all the 3d hype too. like you said 3d tvs and video games.....i mean its just a lame way to get more money. blah im sick of everything 3d but then again when i say that it seems like im the only one because everyone tells me im crazy and 3d "rocks" im happy to know at least theres one more person out there that feels the same way i do =]

i agree. what happened to old fashioned 2d and just seeing a movie without the option of upgrading to "3d" if anything-it gives me a headache.

The movie industry is looking for the next big thing to get audiences to watch more movies and using 3D as a method of attracting people. Also because of Avatar's recent success movie studios/companies hope to replicate that success by using 3D( also more profit since there a few dollars more expensive).Somehow many other industries/companies think this could help them profit and it's just become too much. I, however, would like holograms, that would be cool =P
