How do you make an electronic book like this?

I want to make an electronic book. My teacher said I could make the layout in InDesign, but he doesn't know how to turn the designed pages into an e-book. I want to make an E-book that looks like this. It's my favorite art e-book. http://anthology.starmen.net/ If anyone knows how to do this then it'd help a lot. Thanks!

That e-book is a series of jpegs, with each jpeg a link to the next, plus links at the top to go back and foward by one page. You need to turn your pdf into a series of jpegs. The linked e-book seems to have a seperate html file for each page, which seems rather inefficient - far easier to do it in PHP or something similar.
