Where should I look for my first graphic design job?
-
I'm a recent graduate from a 2yr program in Visual Communications. Trying to get an entrylevel job, but everywhere is asking for experience. How can I get experience if no one will even look at my resume.

Answer:
I have been there before, and still have not got a job. You should start doing an internship, that is the best way to get a job. you won't get paid, but if you do a good job, they will hire you. Otherwise you should start doing work freelance, place an ad, make flayers, to get some work. ask for small amount of money, then you can use them as a work experience. this could work well for you. you can get temp work thru www.aquent.com. try craigslist.org for job listings. and your local paper. Talk to your teachers for pointers and job leads.NEVER DO ANY WORK FOR FREE!! it is not worth it, trust me. good luck!
