How To Make Bracelets?

How do you make these bracelets?

  • I want to make some friendship bracelets like these, but I can't find the patterns. Please help! I want to know the pattern for the bottom bracelet (one with the X's in the bracelet), it doesn't need to be used with the same colors: http://www.monstertrendz.com/Rasta-reggae/WL109B-RST-p513.html and I want to know how to make this one because I like the cute lady bugs: http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/friendship-bracelet-micro-macrame-ladybugs-in-a-row any help on how to make these bracelets would be great. thank you!

  • Answer:

Here is a link to the ladybug pattern: http://www.friendship-bracelets.net/pattern.php?id=1565 If you aren't familiar with reading those types of patterns, you can click on the Tutorial section of that website to learn. The rasta bracelet link you posted shows two Peruvian-style friendship bracelets. The top one is a regular Peruvian type and if you search "peruvian friendship bracelet" on YouTube, you'll find videos that show you how to make them. The bottom bracelet is made with the same sort of technique, only it's doubled in such a way that the zigzags go opposite directions and create the criss-cross pattern. I don't have a link for that one, but you may come across it just by searching the peruvian keyword. Or, if you learn how to make the regular one, you might be able to figure out how to make the other one on your own, which is how I learned. Hope that gives you a little help.
