How to make prints of my art?

• I have several pieces of work that I would like to have made into prints but due to the fact that I must purchase around least 100 at a time, I think. I think I'm going to start with just 4 pieces now. Can anyone give me some advice on where I should go to have these made into prints. And where I should go to sell them. A few people said just go around to shops that sell prints, sell them on the street, or online but most people say online is the slowest way to sell unless you are well known which I'm not currently. I was planning on investing a few hundred to get this going because I know my art is good enough to sell as prints, I just need to know how to properly go about this. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

  How big are these prints? How many DPI are the images? How much do you want to spend? How high does the quality of paper need to be? You will have to find the answers to all of these questions before you can proceed. Believe it or not the 8/10s at Kinkos are pretty good and not too expensive. You will have to resize your image to fit that scale, but it is a cheap place to start. Also--Kinkos does larger prints, too. If you know nothing about printing your work--it is a great place to start. You will also need to board and wrap the work--local craft stores can help you with this--unless you want to go ahead and frame--that ups the artist's price but sometimes your buyer does not want your frame. Tote the work to galleries nearby--get a website--get a portfolio...pound the pavement. Look for places that work on commission... Good luck!
