Wow, these are some tough questions, and I have owned a ceramics shop and am a certified instructor! 1. Organic would be without human interference, geometric would be human manipulation. (I'm guessing) 2. Flat? It can be added onto other surfaces to create an interesting effect. 3. Statue 4. Without contrast, things can become boring and lost. 5. Slip is the liquid form of the ceramic. After it is poured into the mold and removed it is then called greenware. The word green comes from the fact it has not been fired yet. After firing it is then call bisque, think of biscuit that has been cooked. 6. Silicate.

Hey! don't you have a textbook, or a school library? Getting others to give you answers to simple questions like these doesn't help you understand and internalise the material. 1. organic forms are 3d, from nature, geometric forms are created in 2d, drawn on paper as "flat' shapes. 2. this could be called simply, a shape [meaning 2d ]. In ceramics you could use it as surface decoration, stencil, pattern or cut it into the surface as intaglio or relief or through the clay as a cut out, pierced decoration. 3. this would be called a form [it would be able to be seen from a number of angles eg; a sulpture or a pot. 4.Contrast is important to create variety, interest , balance. Opposites are intensified and dynamics created within the art work. 5. slip is liquid clay used for moulding hollow ware or as a glue to join pieces,eg: handles to bodies Greenware is unfired hand built or cast ceramic ware. It can be decorated when dry and fired or fired and glazed later. 6.This could be a trick question! It could be silica [it creates a bond inside the clay body when it is fired] It is not slip.I suspect your teacher means glaze. However the clay particles have already been bonded torether by the chemical reactions that occur in the clay when it is fired in the kiln. Glaze is for decoration, waterproofing and cleanliness.Hope these answers are some help. Next time do a little research at school or on the net to source your own answers. This is a bit like copying what your friend has written !
