How do you make your own fabric prints?

If I found what looks like a hand tinted photo on silky type fabric, is this a lithograph?

• At thrift store today looking for treasures (still am amateur at spotting valuable paintings) I bought for $4.99 what looks like an old handcolored photo or somethign on this silky fabric like texture. When I took it out fo the frame it was on something sticky to keep it stiff. It has handwritten at bottom something like "Salrbuz" (Salzburg, Germany maybe?) and on the other side looks like it says Original Nunt Geinendoifu ---I can't make out handwriting very well. It was showing at bottom of pic to be viewed when looking at image in it's frame. It was professional framed when I bought it. Of course i tore all that off to get a better look. Any ideas as to what this is? I didn't know they had prints on fabric?

  You would be suprised what kind of technolgy the human race has come up with, i mean look at the cell phone, seriously that's big. Anyway, from what i know i'm pretty sure it is, i would look it up on google and see if it is or not, My grandpa had one similar to that, from germany and so i think it is. hope i helped!!!
