What are prosthetic masks made of and how are they manufactured?

What is the band Slipknots masks made of?

  • Material wise, what are their masks made from? Someday I'd like to make some of my own masks and theirs almost seem like hard plastic though I'm not sure.

    Which mask?? New ones? Old ones? Which member? Corey's new one looks like a leather material from the inside. It is also not a hard plastic like you think, it is soft. Sid's on the other hand is some type of hard material such as plastic (or harder), his new one also has wires in it, to make his browz move! Chris's mask looks like a latex, or a rubberish type of mask. The rest of the bands masks look plastic, to me but I'm not sure. They are just my fav band in the world!!!! Hope I could have helped :)
