What's the difference a degree in media arts, media design, and graphic design? ?

I've been doing research on these topics as a major, and the college I'm looking at offers a variety of Media Design degrees, but other college offer Graphic Design and Media Arts. Can someone please break this down for me? B/c if theirs something really important in the differences now might be the time to hear it. Please and thanks for any help!

ok graphic design deals manly with typography and images using pratical based and computer based design work . where as media art deals mainly with the computer bases art form and media design is kinda a mix of both . graphic design is a very big area in art and is well worth the exploration

Location also makes a big difference in today's economy. Too far from home base or in a major city or a small town all can add to the cast and may not improve the out come.
