What are some (cheap) digital art studios?

Any good art studios around St. Louis?

  • Okay so for starters I'm a junior that goes to a technical high school. Right now I'm taking up graphic design there. I've liked art for a very long time and even though the class I'm in helps me practice my skills its only for a short amount of time before I'm hustled off to my actual classes. So I've been looking around the web and all for art studios or some kind of program that deals with art. Mainly something that occurs during the weekend or possibly during the summer. I would like it to be affordable and not too far from the St. Louis area. Many thanks.

  • Answer:

As far as affordable goes, any degree or certificate program is going to cost alot. You shouldn't even be worrying about the cost that much though, because you can get financial aid and scholarships. A place to look at would probably be the art institutes though. (http://www.artinstitutes.edu) I don't know if they do weekend/summer classes, but it wouldn't hurt to look around at least. If that doesn't work, just ask your art teacher if they know of any studios in your area.
