My mum won't let me take art classes, how do I convince her to let me go?

This is very tough, do you think this is because she doesn't want you to do art, or is it the bad economy? Because art classes do cost money. Tell her this is something that you are very passionate about, and something you feel is vEry important for you to pursue. If she can't pay for it, then maybe there us a free drop in class you could do, or maybe y could check out a boys and girls club if you have one near you. Or maybe you could take an art class in school. I am veer sorry about this and i hope i helped.

Try to compromise with her. Maybe you can cut the grass or do the dishes everyday if she lets you take an art class. You could also ask her if you raise your grades in school can you take an art class the next semester. If that doesnt work tell another adult about what you want to do and that your mother wont let you. Ask that adult to talk to your mom

I used to draw when i was younger (not that i'm that old now :P) i was ok. i learned alot from books. I'm sure art classes are pretty expensive, but books that explain the main concepts of drawing things like landscapes, faces, and anything else you could want to draw are sometimes reasonably priced. and a great thing about books is that you always have them. i'm sorry i didn't give you advice on persuading your mom. hope this gives you an alternative.

ask her to get you an interactive class on the internet. drawing is a great talent and can be learned many ways. visit artists' sites and museums if possible too. graphic design is an area that ties into computers and printing businesses.

ok junior its for the best.you cant make money drawing and will end up at the age of 40 living with your mom but for creative perposes tell her that you just want to meet other people and take up a hobby by drawing clases
