What is architecture really about?

What are some really nice peices of Architecture :-)?

  I personally like Number One, London Bridge, London SE1. South side of the bridge, just before the station. There's a large glass edifice at ground level, which goes down a level or two. What I find striking is, the bridge level, seemingly inverted mirror paned cube, which appears to stand outside of the building itself. For me, what is most striking, is its simplicity in its overall appearance which underscores its real visual value. It is my favourite building in London.
