Is it ok to go to jazz when you know nothing about jazz?

If I wanted to become a tattoo artists, and i'm an ok artists..dn't know if that matters,..go to school?o what

• I have been groomed for the business world, expected to become a lawyer..but i dn't want that. I like art but i've unfortunately been blessed with parents who believe those kind of careers amount to nothing. Cant raise a family on the salary i suppose..? Neway I'm in school and studying art. But I want to be a tattoo artist, after school you recommend I go to a school for tattoo artist? or just look for someone willing to teach? I mean I would be more comfortable if i walked in for one of my many to c an artist who had degrees from an credited schools of tattoo. But then again, i'd feel good about an artist who's well known for his work..what you think? I mean whats next?

  Finish the art school, and then look for an apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist. Working on skin is a whole different world than working on canvas.
