What is the difference between filmmaking and digital filmmaking?

Which film summer camp would be better? 16mm filmmaking or Digital filmmaking?

Basically, which one would better help to further my hopeful career (if that makes any sense)

    Both, film photography is not dead infact a truely dedicated photographer will know how to do both well. It wouldn't hurt to know both. I know I am not alot of help sorry, I would take digital this year and take 16 mm next year.

digital i guess. 16mm would be fun, but it wouldn't be 100% useful, and it sounds like it might be tricky
