How to create a magazine and portfolio using InDesign CS4?

I need to create a portfolio of my design images with text as a PDF using InDesign. I also have to create a small 5 page magazine layout using InDesign I can't seem to find any good tutorials on line showing how to layout A4 design pages in InDesign. Please a step by step tutorial would help on how to layout and createH a magazine or booklet using InDesign

I have to agree with Reno. It sounds like you need a tutorial on how to use InDesign. Sorry, but people take many hours and attend classes to learn this powerful page layout application. You are not going to get that here.
