How can I print a big image on 4 sheets A4?

How do i print one image to 4 sheets of paper?

• My mother does quilting, all by hand and draws her pics to the fabric before stitching, and I wanted to know if there is printing software that will allow me to make an image take up 4 sheets of paper, so when she lays the paper on the floor and puts each corner together she gets one big picture. She's done it before years ago on my dads old computer, but she cant remember the name of the program she used. Any help would be great.

  The process is called "tiling" and the method depends on the software you are using, the printer and the printer driver. Maybe you can dig around to find the controls that set this up. Once you find them, you can determine what size you want the final, assembled image to be, how many sheets, how much overlap you need, etc.
