Are there any websites similar to Shutterstock that are free?

Are there any art websites out there that have a free stock section, similar to deviantart?

• I've searched, but I can't seem to find any art sites other than dA that have a free stock and resources section. I'm already a member of deviantart, but lately it's become more of a social networking site and less of a serious art site. Many dA stockers don't allow their stock to be uploaded offsite, and I'm not wealthy enough to buy Royalty free images off Fotolia or Dreamstime all the time (I'm a photomanipulator, BTW)

  If you want royalty free pictures that can be used freely, go to Wet Canvas. They have a free reference library in which you can use all their pictures. However, you do have to be a member. Wetcanvas is an artist website, and they even have a digital art forum for critique and all. (Although lots of the members are more into traditional art.)
