Crocheting needle confusion, please help me!!
-
Is there a difference between a crocheting needle that is a J"" 6mm and one that is a J-10?? I bought a "J" 6mm needle in a different brand name then the yarn I bought and im wondering if I needed to buy the same brand in order to have the right size. Thanks!

Answer:
You have the correct size. All brands of hooks should be the same for sizes. Only the shape of the hook is different between brands which is why some people prefer one over the other. The 6mm is metric while the 10 is just the size number for the J and not a measurement. So there is no difference and you have the size you need, it's just labeled differently.
