Do You Think Graffiti Is Vandalism or Art?

  • Now, that's a big topic, Is Graffiti Vandalism or Art. I already know what I think. I do Graffiti, and I think it's art, as long as It's not gang graffiti or people who do it just for the thrill. I just wanted some other peoples opinions.

    Mostly art. the only vandalism is writing swears/racist words, Evan gang graffiti has to artistic meaning

If it's done on a building without permission it's ART VANDALISM plain and simple. Yet, as far as I'm concerned it's too traditional. Both, but I'd consider it more vandalism. They are damaging someone else's property and that is flat out vandalism. Even if it is art, using it that way is just vandalism. If they want to "express themselves" they can do it on their own property.

It totally depends on the creator. If the person intended it as Art or vandalism. It is all in the intent of the end result. One man's Art is another man's vandalism.

Its art if it has reasonable meaning, I believe. Random scribbles and writing swears on walls is vandalism.
